What does it mean to be a writer in the 21st century?

As we Ink Bandits navigate the waters of creative writing, one river takes us to working with creative non-fiction. From memoir writing to a broader idea of the essay as a space to muse and wonder, we are going to post our revised explorations here in this blog.

After reading Cindy Walpole's edifying essay on the Essayification of Everything, it's time to build our conversation about what it means to be a writer in the 21st century.

Here, we join the collective dialogue by publishing our thoughts, hacking into our experiences, and entering into the digital realm about nature, daily life, politics, society, technology, and anything else we want to wade through, if only for a moment.

Enjoy your signature scratches:)
