Top Ten Ways to Succeed in MMA

Wanna be among the greatest? Many top contenders and title holders in MMA use specific tips in order to make themselves greater. Based on my seldom experience level, I have chosen a few ways to help you step up your game. Only a beginner would be able to educate you on these ways because advanced fighters do not have an open mind. They fight just craving the victory and refuse to believe any of the additional ways to be among the gods of fighting. Below are the top ten ways to ensure you will succeed in MMA.
  1. Don’t get punched in the face.
The single most essential part of the succeeding in MMA is not getting punched in the face. The merciless impact and the stinging after shock of the punch make you wear a stupid facial expression. You know it plain out hurts when you get suckered punched in the face. Don’t be a sucker.

  1. Yell at your opponent during the match then slap him in the face.
Its all about making yourself look tough and disrespectful. Don’t ever fight and look respectful because people won’t take you seriously. Respect causes you to lose true fans. Slapping the other guy will surely make your fight the highlight of the night even if it is just the prelims. You’ll be a fan favorite.

  1. Fight someone who sucks.
If you’re looking to win, obviously fight someone who has a record of 0-13. That’ll be an easy win for you. But if it does come down to you getting knocked out, your excuse can be he threw sporadic strikes and made you stoop down to his level. Blame it on him. It never can be your fault when you lose.

  1. Pick your opponent.
Don’t let anyone else pick who you’re gonna fight. They will put you up against someone who is going to challenge you. You do not want anything like that. An easy fight will help you go straight to the top. You probably won’t learn anything through your journey, but who really cares about that! That win is all that matters.

  1. Weigh at least twenty pounds more than your opponent.
I know everyone cuts weight before a fight, but thats just one of many mistakes in their life. You want to go in weighing a minimum of twenty pounds more. I suggests you weigh more than that, so all you’ll have to do to your opponent is sit on them. If you cannot bring them to the ground, your extra weight will aid as a shield from the kick and jabs to the stomach.

  1. Talk as much smack as you want.
On the internet, in public, before weigh ins, after weigh ins, it doesn’t matter where or when. Make sure other people see your trash talking unless it will be for nothing. A suggestion is to post comments on twitter, facebook, or instagram. You can even spray paint your opponents car with trash-talking words. That way, he will be driving around that car so the whole city can see how much you’re gonna crush him.

  1. Make your walk out song scarier than you actually are.
With a thuggish walkout song, your opponent will break out into a sweat before the fight even starts. This tip is best for fighters who suck. It will aid you in looking and acting tougher. Nobody will remember how bad your opponent beat you up; they’ll all be talking about the killer song!

  1. Strike a pose as you finish a move.
The best way to show how tough you actually are is striking a pose for the camera as you finish a move. Warning: only try this as a beginner. If you try this as a professional you will not be able to effectively strike a pose because you will have a hard time trying to control the atmosphere.

  1. Start the fight before the fight.
If you want to succeed, you MUST start the fight before the actual day of the fight. Whether it is on media day or weigh in day, start the fight and have no regrets. You must not wait for the match. Get all your anger out, so when you get into the fight you will not have any good reason to beat them up. Catch them by surprise as you throw a few deadly strikes at your opponent.

  1. Hide your face.
Do not ever show your face to your opponent before the match. Let your opponent face the element of surprise when he sees you for the first time in the octagon. For tips on hiding your face use a mask or a big cowboy hat. Using these tips may also make you look pretty frightening.
